Immersed In You
I love where you take me
So high to the outer limits
Places in my heart I never
though to go
Different visions you show me
I have truly never seen
Sometimes you make me feel
like a feather floating
in a forever place
Then other times I’m consumed with
such curiosity I want to claw you open
to see all of who you are
Then I remember how much more
succulent a ripe fruit is when tasted
slowly sensually bite by bite
I will be patient
For I want to fully
be so immersed
in your essence
as long as forever
as long as there is
time
